The White Apes of Barsoom are gigantic horrifying creatures, and the most deadly and fearsome on the planet. They are violent and powerful, they have six limbs that can function as either legs or arms. The Jeddaks of the world wear mantles made from the hair of these great beasts as a show of power. Whatever eyes these creatures have are useless, they hunt by hearing and smell. Like most beings in Barsoom, they have blue blood.
